Edit Repair Details
Update vehicle information, owner details, and claim data on a repair. Most of this data is imported from your estimating system — you'll typically only need to correct or add missing fields.
Before you start: You need the Repair Planner or Organization Leader role to edit repairs. Basic Users (Technicians) have read-only access.
Steps
- Open a repair from the All Repairs dashboard or by searching for it.
-
You'll land on the Vehicle Details tab — the first of four tabs on a repair. This is where all the repair's core information lives.

- Vehicle information — Review and edit the VIN, make, model, year, color, mileage, and condition.
-
Owner details — Review and edit the customer's name, address, phone number, and email.

- Claim and insurance information — Review and edit the claim number, policy number, insurance company, adjuster name, and loss details.
-
Cost breakdown — View the cost summary broken down by labor type (body, frame, electrical, mechanical, glass, paint, structural, diagnostic), parts, materials, and tax.

Tip: Vehicle and claim data is imported automatically from your estimating system. You usually only need to correct errors or fill in fields that weren't included in the import.
