Set Up the Repair Plan: Auto Link & Manual Linking
After documentation has been added to a repair, set up the repair plan by linking that documentation to the appropriate repair lines. Auto Link links standard documentation in a single action, while manual linking lets you add or adjust individual links.
Auto Link Media to the Repair Plan
Use Auto Link to automatically attach standard documentation to repair lines based on information in the repair plan.
- Open the repair and go to the Repair Plan Setup tab.
- Select the Auto Link button in the top right header.

Note: Always review the resulting links before sending the repair to review. You can manually add or remove links as needed.
Link Media to a Single Repair Line
- Locate the repair line and select its link icon on the right side of the repair plan canvas.

- In the Choose Documentation To Link dialog, select the media you want to attach.

- Select the (+) Add button to link it to that line.

Link Media to a Group of Repair Lines
- Select the checkboxes next to multiple repair line numbers (on the left side of the repair plan canvas).

- Select the link icon from one of the selected lines.

- Choose the media you wish to attach.

- Select the (+) Add button to link it to all selected lines.

Remove Media from Repair Lines
- Select the checkbox next to the repair line number(s).

- Select the trash can icon in the upper center of the page to remove the linked media from that repair line.

Preview the Repair Plan
Select Preview Repair Plan in the upper-right corner to see how the repair plan will appear when shared externally.
