Required: Before you can create portals, an admin must complete the CCC Secure Share integration setup. See Set Up the CCC Secure Share Integration.

Create the Portal in Collision Clarity

  1. Log in to the Collision Clarity platform.
  2. Click Create Portal (+) from the left sidebar.
  3. Under the New tab, view all portals available for creation.
  4. Use the search bar at the top-center of the page to find a specific portal. You can search by VIN, RO Number, Customer Name, or Make/Model.
  5. Use the Location filter (dropdown to the right of the search bar) to filter available portals by location.
  6. Click (+) Create on the portal card you wish to create.
Note: "New" here is the name of the tab on the Create Portal page, not a workflow status. For the actual workflow statuses repairs move through after creation, see Workflow Status Overview.
Important: Once (+) Create is clicked, the portal is immediately created and moves to In Progress status. This action cannot be undone.

What's next?

The portal now appears in your All Repairs list with status In Progress. Next, set up the repair plan and add documentation.
