Add Repair Documentation
Add, label, and manage repair media, including photos, videos, and documents that support the damage, repair process, and work performed. Collision Clarity supports both desktop and mobile documentation workflows.
Note: Note: If your shop uses Nexsyis and has an active integration with Collision Clarity, media added in Nexsyis will automatically sync and appear in the Repair Documentation tab.
Step 1: Open the Repair Documentation tab
- From the Vehicle Details tab, navigate to the Repair Documentation tab.

Step 2: Add Media to the Repair
Desktop
- Click the + Add button on the right side of the screen.

- In the Upload Media window, select Upload and choose your files.

Mobile
Mobile users can choose from three quick-access media buttons:
- + Add Button : Upload files directly to the repair from your device.

- + Images Button : Opens your camera for quick photo capture.

- + Video Button : Opens your video camera for quick video recording.

Step 3: Label Media
- Click the text area directly below a media item.
- Enter a label (e.g., Front Bumper Damage, VIN Label, Before Disassembly).

Optional Media Management
Move Media
- Hover over any media item and click the arrow icon.
- Select the bucket (media category) where the file should be moved.

Hide Media
Hover over a media item and click the eye-with-slash icon to hide it from public view.

Important: Hiding media does not delete it. It prevents the media from being visible on customer-facing outputs.
What's next?
With media added and labeled, the next step is to set up the repair plan and link supporting documentation to the appropriate repair lines.
