Fulfill Documentation Requirements

Required: You cannot send a repair to review, share it externally, or send it to a customer until every documentation requirement is fulfilled. This guide explains how to fulfill the requirements in the Pre-Repair Documentation and Repair Documentation sections.

Requirements are located in the Repair Documentation tab. Every item must be labeled with the exact requirement name. Requirements associated with specific repair lines must also be linked to the corresponding lines.

Understanding Requirements

The Repair Documentation tab organizes requirements into two expandable sections:

  • Pre-Repair Documentation
  • Repair Documentation

To fulfill a requirement, select or upload the appropriate media and label it with the requirement’s exact name. If a requirement displays a repair line number, the media must also be linked to that repair line.

Completing a Pre-Repair Documentation Requirement

Step 1: Locate the Requirement

  • Expand the Pre-Repair Documentation dropdown list located in the Repair Documentation tab.

Step 2: Select or Upload the Appropriate Media

  • Choose or upload the correct media item that matches the requirement.
  • Required documentation may include Images, Videos, and Documents.

Step 3: Label the Media

  • Click the text area beneath the selected media item.
  • Enter the requirement name exactly as it is listed in the requirement.

Tip: Hover over the icons next to each listed requirement to see the required file type (image, video, or document).

Completing a Repair Documentation Requirement

Some requirements in the Repair Documentation section are associated with specific repair lines. These requirements display repair line numbers and must be linked to the corresponding lines.

Step 1: Locate the Requirement

  • Expand the Repair Documentation dropdown list located in the Repair Documentation tab.
  • Identify items with repair line numbers, which indicate they must be linked to those lines.

Step 2: Select or Upload the Required Media

  • Choose or upload the media that supports the repair line.
  • Required documentation may include Images, Videos, and Documents.

Step 3: Label the Media

  • Select the text area beneath the selected media item.
  • Enter the requirement name exactly as it is listed in the requirement description.

Required: A repair-line requirement will remain unfulfilled unless its media is both correctly labeled and linked to the corresponding repair line. All documentation requirements must be fulfilled before you can continue the workflow.
