Fulfill Documentation Requirements

Required: You can't send a repair to review, share it externally, or send it to a customer until every documentation requirement is fulfilled. This guide shows you how to clear them.

Requirements appear inside the Repair Documentation tab in two sections: Pre-Repair Documentation and Repair Documentation. Each section's items must be both labeled and linked correctly to count as fulfilled.

Understanding Requirements

Within each repair, the Repair Documentation tab contains two sections:

  • Pre-Repair Documentation
  • Repair Documentation

Each section includes required items that must be fulfilled before progressing with a repair.

Completing a Pre-Repair Documentation Requirement

Step 1: Locate the Requirement

Expand the Pre-Repair Documentation dropdown list located in the Repair Documentation tab.

Step 2: Select or Upload the Appropriate Media

  • Choose or upload the correct media item that matches the requirement.
  • Required documentation may include Images, Videos, and Documents.

Step 3: Label the Media

  • Click the text area beneath the selected media item.
  • Enter the requirement name exactly as it is listed in the requirement.
Tip: Hover over the icons next to each listed requirement to see the required file type (image, video, or document).

Completing a Repair Documentation Requirement

Some Repair Documentation requirements must be attached to specific repair lines. You can find these requirements located inside the Repair Documentation drop down.

Step 1: Locate the Requirement

  • Expand the Repair Documentation dropdown list located in the Repair Documentation tab.
  • Identify items with repair line numbers, which indicate they must be linked to those lines.

Step 2: Select or Upload the Required Media

  • Choose or upload the media that supports the repair line.
  • Required documentation may include Images, Videos, and Documents.

Step 3: Label the Media

  • Select the text area beneath the selected media item.
  • Enter the requirement name exactly as it is listed in the requirement description.
Required: If the required documentation is not both labeled and linked, the requirement will remain unfulfilled and you cannot continue the workflow.
