Review a Repair

Note: If you're a planner who needs to send a repair for review, see Send a Repair to Review instead.

When a planner sends a repair to review, it lands in your Needs Review queue. Use this guide to claim, evaluate, and either approve or reject the repair.


Step 1: Navigate to the Needs Review Status

Go to the Needs Review tab on the All Repairs page. You'll see three sections:

  • Repairs For Review : unclaimed repairs awaiting review.
  • Under Review By Me : repairs you've locked and are currently reviewing.
  • Under Review By Others : repairs locked by other reviewers.

Step 2: Claim the Repair

Select the Lock button on the lower right of the vehicle card.

Note: Locking a repair prevents other users from reviewing the same repair at the same time.

Step 3: Open the Repair

  • Go to the Under Review By Me section.
  • Click on the repair you locked.

Approve a Repair

Select the green Approve button in the upper right header.

Note: Approved repairs will move to Ready to Send status, allowing the repair to be shared for external viewing.

Reject a Repair

  1. Select the red Reject button in the upper right header.
  2. Enter the reason(s) for rejection in the Feedback Description text field.
  3. Optionally attach evidence via Choose Documentation to Link.
  4. Select Send in the lower right corner of the window.
Important: Rejected repairs will move to Insufficient Evidence status. The repair planner will see the feedback and can address it before resubmitting.
