Review a Repair
Note: If you're a planner who needs to send a repair for review, see Send a Repair to Review instead.
When a planner sends a repair to review, it lands in your Needs Review queue. Use this guide to claim, evaluate, and either approve or reject the repair.
Step 1: Navigate to the Needs Review Status
Go to the Needs Review tab on the All Repairs page. You'll see three sections:
- Repairs For Review : unclaimed repairs awaiting review.
- Under Review By Me : repairs you've locked and are currently reviewing.
- Under Review By Others : repairs locked by other reviewers.
Step 2: Claim the Repair
Select the Lock button on the lower right of the vehicle card.
Note: Locking a repair prevents other users from reviewing the same repair at the same time.
Step 3: Open the Repair
- Go to the Under Review By Me section.
- Click on the repair you locked.
Approve a Repair
Select the green Approve button in the upper right header.
Note: Approved repairs will move to Ready to Send status, allowing the repair to be shared for external viewing.
Reject a Repair
- Select the red Reject button in the upper right header.
- Enter the reason(s) for rejection in the Feedback Description text field.
- Optionally attach evidence via Choose Documentation to Link.
- Select Send in the lower right corner of the window.
Important: Rejected repairs will move to Insufficient Evidence status. The repair planner will see the feedback and can address it before resubmitting.
