Review a Repair
When a repair planner sends a repair to review, it appears in the Needs Review queue. Use this guide to claim the repair, evaluate its documentation, and approve or reject it.
Step 1: Open the Needs Review Queue
Go to the All Repairs page and select the Needs Review tab. The queue contains three sections:
- Repairs For Review : Unclaimed repairs waiting to be reviewed.
- Under Review By Me : Repairs you have claimed and are currently reviewing.
- Under Review By Others : Repairs claimed by other reviewers.

Step 2: Claim the Repair
Find the repair in Repairs For Review and select Lock in the lower-right corner of its vehicle card.

Step 3: Open the Repair
- Go to Under Review By Me and select the repair you claimed.

Step 4: Evaluate the Repair
- Review the repair details, documentation, and linked repair plan lines. Confirm that the submitted information provides sufficient evidence to approve the repair.
- After completing your review, approve or reject the repair.
Important: Changes cannot be made, and Secure Share updates are not accepted while a repair is in Needs Review. If the repair requires corrections or updated CCC information, reject it so it moves to Insufficient Evidence. The repair planner must then export the updated CCC workfile again. Updates exported during Needs Review will not automatically apply. Learn more about Secure Share updates during review.
Approve a Repair
Select the green Approve button in the upper right header.

Reject a Repair
- Select the red Reject button in the upper right header.

- Enter the reason for the rejection in the Feedback Description field.
- If needed, attach supporting evidence using Choose Documentation to Link.
- Select Send in the lower-right corner of the window.

What's next?
If you are following the Quick Start sequence, after the repair is approved and moves to Ready to Send, continue to Share a Repair Externally.
