Share a Repair Externally

Required: You can only share a repair externally after it has been approved and moved to Ready to Send status. Repairs in earlier statuses don't have the Share option.

Share a completed repair externally either as a full repair or by sending selected documentation only.

Share a Full Repair Externally

Step 1: Open the Share Menu

Select the Share icon located in the upper right header.

Step 2: Enter Recipient Information

Enter the recipient's email address in the email field.

Step 3: Share the Repair

Select the Share button located in the lower right corner.

The recipient will receive an email containing a secure link that allows them to view the full repair externally.

Share Individual Repair Documentation

Step 1: Open the Share Menu

Select the Share icon located in the upper right header.

Step 2: Enter Recipient Information

Enter the recipient's email address.

Step 3: Choose Documentation to Share

In the Link Documentation section, select the Choose Documentation to Link selector.

Step 4: Select the Media

  • Click any media item you wish to include in the shared email.
  • Select the (+ Add) button in the lower right corner.

Step 5: Share

Select the Share button in the lower right corner to send.

Shared Claim Access

Use the Shared Claim Access tab to view and manage external access.

Review External Sharing Activity

  • View all current shared access for a repair.
  • Detailed timestamps include:
    • When the link was sent
    • When the link was opened

What's next?

Once shared, the repair moves to Portal Sent status. When the work is complete, archive the repair to lock it from further modification.
